Case Manager
Hi, my name is Shyanna Dukes but you can join everyone else and call me Shy. I am an alumni of the prestigious Clalflin University in Orangeburg,SC, the oldest and first HBCU in the state of South Carolina. After a long 5 years spent at the university, I had finally received my B.A. in Psychology. After receiving my degree, I struggled to get my career started in my field of study. Almost 2 years later, I eventually got my start in Charlotte, NC with an ABA company working as a RBT providing behavioral therapy for autistic children. I had been caring for children almost my entire life but working with those kiddos and the skills I learned in that field caused me to gain a new level of patience and understanding for groups of people I may have thought of differently than before. After my time as a RBT, I transitioned in social work where I served as a foster care caseworker in Columbia, SC. I always knew I wanted to help and serve others and I am now delighted to be a member of the Bright Start Family and I look forward to servicing you and your loved ones.
