Case Management Supervisor
Hi! My name is Ashley Caldwell. I am a Case Manager Supervisor in the Upstate of South Carolina. From a young age, I have had a heart for serving those in my community. For as long as I can remember, it has brought me great joy to support, serve, and help others! I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance. I believe music is definitely a passion and language many can speak. I love spending time with my precious husband and family at our home in Laurens, SC, as well as cheering on my Tennessee Volunteers any chance I get. I am blessed with two sons and four daughters that are starting to leave the nest, but still find time to come home to Mama. My second child was born 25 years ago and was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age three. At that time, there wasn’t a handbook or guide for my family to navigate this new journey. I knew then that my true calling was to be that empowering voice for others on their journeys with disabilities and special needs. I completed my Masters of Science Degree in Human Services with a specialization in Social and Community Services and the larger part of a PhD in the Human Services field. I have experience as a Forensic Interviewer, Registered Behavior Technician, Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, Case Manager, and Case Manager Supervisor. Aside from the day I married my husband, the births of my children, and becoming a “Bonus Mama”, being a part of the Bright Start Team in a role that allows me to support and empower individuals & families is one of my life’s greatest gifts. I LOVE the enthusiasm, relationships, and rapport that is such a huge part of case management at Bright Start. My greatest desire is to hold true to our Mission Statement: Bright Start is a team of unique individuals from varying backgrounds who serve, honor, and celebrate all children, families, and individuals with disabilities and special needs. Through compassion, excellence, integrity, and leadership we enhance the quality of life for all.
