Hi there!!! My name is A. Renee Thompson! I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, where I attended the Durham Magnet Center Program within the public school system! I continued my education at one of the best Historical Black Universities! While attending Johnson C. Smith University, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work! I graduated from this lustrous university in May 2006! I have also obtained my early childhood education certificate from North Technical College in Durham, NC. I have worked in the education field for many years, but my heart is in Social Work! I am also a licensed and ordained Elder in my faith. I am a proud Case Manager and Trainer here at BRIGHT START! My desire is to serve the underprivileged, overlooked and less fortunate through love, honesty, compassion, kindness and faith!
