Early Intervention Supervisor
Hello, I’m Katie and I’m the Supervisor for Anderson, Oconee and Pickens Counties. I’ve always enjoyed working with children in various environments and experiences. I've had the opportunity to serve children both near and far; from Anderson County to Nicaragua to Guatemala. I attended the University of South Carolina where I obtained a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. Although I enjoyed my teaching experiences throughout my time at USC, I knew Early Intervention was my passion after having the chance to observe my Mother (who is also an EI) in the field. I worked in a childcare center upon graduating and excitedly joined the Bright Start team in 2013. After serving as an Early Interventionist for four years, I transitioned into the Supervisor position and love the opportunity I’ve been given to support the EIs in their role. I am fortunate to serve in a company whose mission is to help others reach their greatest potential.
