Early Interventionist - Rock Hill Office
My name is Jenny Gewirtzman. I am a graduate of Clayton State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Human Services. Throughout my college career I worked in child care as a teacher and substitute with children from birth to middle school age. After college, I devoted myself to helping individuals suffering from the disease of addiction as a Substance Abuse Counselor for about 6 years. I put my career on hold when my daughter was born. When it was time to return to the work force, I decided to go back into child care so that I could be with my daughter. 4 years later I was presented the opportunity to apply with Bright Start and I feel that I have truly found what I am meant to do. I have always had a deep connection working with young children, especially children who have special needs. I want to be able to help families gain confidence and strength to support their child and help their child grow into a productive member of society. I hope that my presence with the family will give them affirmation that they can be the best parent for their child. All children deserve unconditional love and hope and I would love to be a small part of that gift to the children and families I serve. I am so glad to be a part of this team.
