Early Interventionist - Charleston Office
Hey everybody! My name is Emily Wrenn! I was born and raised in Central Kentucky, and have lived there my whole life so I am new to Charleston! I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies, a concentration in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, and a minor in American Sign Language. After graduating, I worked in a Central Kentucky school district as a Preschool Teacher for two years. My classroom had children ranging from ages 3 to 5 years old, coming from all different kinds of backgrounds and disability ranges. I always knew I loved working with young children, but it was here in my classroom that I truly realized the passion I had for working with children with disabilities. I loved being able to play a part in their growth and development, getting to celebrate with them as they learn and accomplish each new thing in their life. I believe that early intervention can be a truly life changing experience, and I am honored to be able to continue working with and touching the lives of children with disabilities and their families, and hope that I will be able to leave a lasting impact on their life just as they have mine!
