Have rightstart case manager is different, because they’re going to come into your home, and they are going to get to know who you are.

We are about building relationships and being a part of a family’s team or individuals team.

They’re not there. Just to say, I’m here to make an appearance that I’m going to leave. No, we want to spend time with you want to get to know you want to get to know your family, we want to be there to be part of your support system, but mostly to be part of your world.

We are about coming in and coaching and empowering people not just coming in with a checklist and just telling people what they need to do, but actually taking the time to listen to them.

Bonnie Shaw
Our case managers will visit with our families every other month. And they’re also going to check in monthly, we want to see how you’re doing and we want to continue that connection.

The frequency is to build relationships, you build relationships, when dealing with people more frequently, if you only meet with them once every six months, or once every you know, quarter or anything like that you’re not really building a relationship. So the more frequent it is, the stronger the relationship in the bond can be.

Bonnie Shaw
Our case managers are going to respond to your calls or any question you have, definitely within 24 hours. But we’re going to make sure to try to do that a little bit sooner. Because what you have to say is important to us.

So my why and why I’m a part of brightstart is because I have a sibling who has Down syndrome. I also had a child that was born with Down syndrome she passed, but I think about what I would want for my brother or my child that had passed. And I want someone that’s going to come in and be a part of the team who’s going to be a part of my family, not just you know, somebody comes in with a checklist. So when I can build trust with
