Research Opportunity!
Katie Wolfe, from the College of Education at USC, is looking for young children with autism spectrum disorders to participate in a research study.
DESCRIPTION: This study is evaluating strategies to teach basic language skills to young children with autism. If your child participates, he/she will receive about 30 minutes of one-on-one, ABA-based instruction, 3-5 days per week, from a trained therapist.
*You will not have to travel; the therapist will come to your home or childcare setting to conduct the research sessions*
DURATION: The study will last about 6-8 weeks.
ELIGIBILITY:
- 2-8 years old
- Diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder
- Uses vocal language
- Lives in Lexington or Richland County
