What Would I Do Without You?
My children are clients of Bright Start, and we have been with them for about 15 years now.
I was just finishing an email exchange with Anna Pridgen that ended as it usually does, with something like, “Anna, what would I do without you?”
It really made me stop and reflect for a minute. Really, what would I do without my Anna??
God has put some amazing souls in our path as we journey down the road raising children on the spectrum. We’ve had some great therapists, teachers, service providers, and so on, but as we all know, there are always a few that rise to the top that make us wonder, what would we do without this person?
I don’t think I need to tell you how sweet, smart and funny Anna is. She always gets me through whatever crisis or situation I call on her to help with, but in a manner that feels like we’re not just clients, but really, part of a family. I know I can count on an instant reply from her whenever I reach out. Weekends, evenings, she’s always there. I’d swear sometimes we were the only family she was servicing! Lol. She really is amazing.
The most important thing though is how knowledge she is and how absolutely amazing she is at her job! I’m sure I don’t need to explain how incredibly challenging life can be at times for the families that you serve. Having a case manager that is exceptional at her job eases the frustration of having to deal with complex and complicated services, dealing with other agencies and their endless red tape and more, all of which can lead parents to just give up altogether in frustration and subsequently close doors to services that may otherwise enhance the lives of their children and their families. Anna Pridgen makes it all look easy! To say that we are grateful to her is the understatement of the year. In closing, I just wanted to express my gratitude and let you know what a difference Bright Start and your amazing staff has made in our lives over the past several years.
