Hello South Carolina Autism Friends–
The coming week promises to be a BIG WEEK for the autism community. It’s World Autism Awareness Day, the start of Autism Awareness Month, and the incredibly fun “Light It Up Blue” Day!!
You are cordially invited to join in various autism awareness/Light It Up Blue activities in Columbia. A flyer is attached with information, but here are a couple of the highlights:

The celebration will feature jump castles, games, entertainment and food trucks starting at 5:00 in the parking lot at the Autism Academy of South Carolina. When the sun goes down, we’ll don our blue capes, glow bracelets, and more and set off for a 1.5-mile run/walk to the Governor’s Mansion and back. The Governor’s Mansion will be lit up blue in celebration! This a family-friendly event; the roads will be shut down to allow our kids to run or walk safely on our route!!

Autism Academy of South Carolina, 1505 Blanding Street (corner of Bull and Blanding)
Fun Run begins around 7:00
Please share this, and help us create awareness for autism by participating in these activities!
