Early Interventionist - Upstate Office
I was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana where I graduated from Ball State University with my B.S. in Family Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Family Studies and Child Development. I have been working with children in some capacity for a majority of my life. Starting as early as helping my mother in the daycare she ran inside our home, leading up to babysitting for friends and family as a teen. Throughout my years in college I worked in licensed child care settings with children 6 weeks to 5 years and upon graduation I began working with school age children at resident camps teaching outdoor education. This career brought me to South Carolina in 2009 where I met my husband, and we eventually made the Upstate our home when our son was born in 2015. Throughout my years in working with children, the thing I valued most was the relationships I have been able to form with the children and their families. Working as an Early Interventionist allows me the opportunity to do just exactly that, while helping provide families the support they need.
