Early Interventionist - Midlands Office
The summer before my senior year at Columbia College, where I majored in Psychology, I was given an opportunity to work with a four year old girl with autism doing Lovaas based ABA. I fell in love with that child and the desire to understand more about autism. In graduate school at USC in the Rehabilitation Counseling Department, I completed an internship with Midlands Autism Division of DDSN and was excited to learn about Bright Start. Upon graduation, I met with Beth and Teri and have been a part of the Early Intervention team since May of 2000. I love Bright Start! Through my work as an Early Interventionist, I have been blessed and honored to meet so many wonderful families, and they have shared their precious children with me. I love being in the community and have learned so much about autism and the great puzzle it continues to be.
