Case Manager - Midlands Office
Most of my life has been spent in Indiana where I grew up. As a child, I first learned about special needs when my cousin was diagnosed with autism. In high school and college, I volunteered with Special Olympics, Best Buddies, and Student Council for Exceptional Children where I developed many friendships with children and adults with disabilities and their families. Through those relationships I was asked to provide respite and community support services for several families that I keep in touch with to this day. I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Family and Child Development and have several years of family case management experience specializing in early childhood trauma, foster care, and adoption. I also have personal experience as a therapeutic foster and adoptive mother caring for many children with various needs. My husband and I moved to Irmo, South Carolina in 2014 along with our children. We absolutely love living in the South and spend our free time bargain hunting, fixing up our house, and playing with the kids.
