Early Interventionist
Hello! My name is Katie Merson and I'm an Early Interventionist at the Bright Start Midlands office. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. A career change from the mortgage industry led me back to teaching 3 year olds in a Preschool classroom. While there, I discovered my passion for helping children learn, grow, and assisting them with each of their unique and individual needs. In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with my son Scout. I am also a licensed skydiver, so I enjoy a good thrill! I'm looking forward to my adventure with Bright Start and am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful company!
