Jennifer Steyne

Early Interventionist

I knew I was going to work with children since I was 10 years old and I was given the opportunity to take a ‘babysitting’ class at the local hospital. I have worked with children for the past 22+ years in a wide variety of capacities, which have included but is not limited to, teaching and private childcare. Child development became a passion for me as a result. I wanted to create healthy environments for families; whether it be physically, emotionally or mentally - using my experiences and talents that I gained from my time at Anderson College (now University), my work experiences and so many personal endeavors. Coming to Bright Start gave me more purpose as I now have opportunities to touch families with children of all types of abilities. If I am not researching or creating something for one of my families, I’m hanging out with my dog, Tiny and my friends, watching superhero movies or playing board games at the gaming store.
